Martin L. Ciaccia, General Manager, Licensed Director

Email: info@eneafamily.com

Marty has spent the majority of his adult life dedicating himself to funeral service. Born and raised in Frankfort, Marty is the son of Larry Ciaccia and Gina (Spado) Ciaccia. At 15 years old he was offered a job by Harry J. Enea, Jr. – a part-time position as a doorman and parking lot attendant – and the rest is history.

A Frankfort-Schuyler graduate with the Class of 2007, Marty continued his education at Simmons Institute of Funeral Service where he finished his degree in 2008. Throughout his education, he trained with funeral directors, Harry and Kevin Enea and Don Applegate, receiving a vast amount of experience along the way.

In early 2009, Marty began his Funeral Director apprenticeship and residency program with Eannace Funeral Home, Inc. of Utica. He became a NYS Licensed Funeral Director in April of 2010 (at the young age of 20 years old) and spent four years serving the families of the Greater Utica area. He also took a sabbatical to South Florida where he worked as a funeral home manager for a chain of corporate firms. Marty not only holds a license in the State of New York, but in the State of Florida, as well.

He had the opportunity in 2014 to return to his hometown of Frankfort and once again rejoin the Enea Family Funeral Homes and Applegate-Day & Enea Family Funeral Homes of the Mohawk Valley.

Marty serves not only as a Licensed Funeral Director, but as the OSHA Safety Coordinator, Preparation and Embalming Manager, and Pre-Arrangement Specialist with all of the Enea Family firms.

Marty holds memberships with the St. Francis di Paola Society in Frankfort, the NYS Funeral Director’s Association, and the Tri-County Funeral Director’s Association. He also holds a position on the board of March Meatball Madness, a charity event in support of the Abraham House in Utica, a home for the terminally ill. In his spare time he enjoys skiing, golfing, running, cooking, reading, attending Frankfort-Schuyler sporting events, as well as being involved within his community.
