Obituary of Ralph Leon Fitch

TOWN OF SCHUYLER – Ralph Leon Fitch went home to the Lord at the age of 81 on Saturday afternoon, June 29, 2019 in the comfort of his home in Frankfort, always surrounded by those he so dearly loved.

He was born August 25, 1937, in Rome, New York. He was a loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn N. Seaton – Fitch of 52 years; his children, Joyce Fitch, Ray and Terri, of Beverly, New Jersey, Jennifer and Mark Miller, of Little Falls, Julie and John Cox, of Herkimer, Janice and Star Cole, of Yalaha, Florida, Jean and Tarri Pokorney, of New Hampshire, Jason and Natalie Fitch, of Ilion, Justin and Erin Fitch, of Herkimer, and Jeromy and Haley Fitch, of Stockbridge; granddaughter, Gabby; sons-in-law, Tom DiBrango and Gary Kennedy; his siblings and their husbands and wives, Alberta and Dick Nowhitney, Russel and Helen Fitch and Eva and Freddie Bouchard. He was predeceased by his grandchildren, Alicia Kennedy and Kevin Ludwig.

All are invited to a memorial to celebrate the Life of Ralph on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 1:00 PM, at the Frankfort United Methodist Church, 4224 Acme Road, Frankfort, NY 13340. In lieu of flowers, a smile and a fond memory is all he asks.
