Obituary of Mary H. (Lozo) Dick

ILION – Mary H. (Lozo) Dick, age 87, formerly of Ilion, Saratoga and Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at Folts Home, Herkimer.

She was born on February 2, 1932, in Ilion, the daughter of William “Sonny” Lozo and Helen (Dykeman) Lozo.  Mary graduated from Annunciation School and Ilion High School, in 1950.  In 1997, she was married to William “Tom” Dick, in Florida.  He died on December 29, 2002.  Mary was employed at the Empire State College, in Glens Falls, NY, for many years.  She was a gifted seamstress.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Laurie Archer and Steve Lockwood, of Windsor, NY; 3 grandchildren, Stephen and Allison Lockwood and Jeremey Moore; 2 great-grandsons, Wyatt and Grayson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, Tom; her son, Johnny Willems; and her sister, Pat Sims.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services.
