MOHAWK – Mr. LeRoy L. “Sonny” Daley, 79, of 39 Columbia Street, Mohawk NY, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Foltsbrook Center, Herkimer, with his loving family always caring for him. He was born on March 29, 1940, in Little Falls, NY, the son of the late LeRoy and Katherine (Herringshaw) Daley. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School. He was united in marriage to his wife of many years, the former Jacqueline Tracy. He was the owner of Daley Diner, Jordanville, worked in Remington Arms at one time and owned Daley Wholesale, Herkimer, NY. His interests were inclusive to hunting and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife, Jackie; his children, Cindie and Rod Gardner, of Wisconsin, Douglas DesJardins, of Mohawk, NY, Donella and Rodney Tarbox, of Mohawk, NY, Daniel and Bonnie DesJardins, of Ilion, NY, Ronald and Diane DesJardins, of Mohawk, NY, John and Lori DesJardins, of Frankfort, NY, Tracie DesJardins, of Herkimer, NY, Cathy Daley and Bernadette Reina, of Mohawk, NY and Dawn and Randel Hunt, of Mohawk, NY; a special friend, Kenny Polley; many grand-kids and great-grandkids; his sister-in-law, Mary Daley; and his brother-in-law, Eugene Noonan. He was predeceased by his sister, Evelyn Noonan; and brothers, Edward Daley, Robert and wife, Carolyn Daley and Gerald Daley. Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
