HERKIMER – Charmaine Kissner, 63, a resident of North Bellinger Street, Herkimer, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, March 9, 2020, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. She was born on May 4, 1956, in New York City, daughter of the late Charles and Marguerite (Kane) Kissner and was educated in Little Falls schools. She also attended St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing. Until 2017, Char was MDS coordinator with Foltsbrook Center, Herkimer. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. Her longtime partner, Bernard B.J. Mlinar, preceded her in death, May 13, 2007. She leaves a son, Jeffrey C. Mlinar, of Herkimer. She is also survived by Chuck and Mary Jean Kissner and son, Andy, of Florida, (brother, sister-in-law and nephew); and several cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020, at 10:00 am, from St. Francis de Sales Church, North Bellinger Street, Herkimer, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Mark Cunningham, Pastor. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, where she will be laid to rest. There are no calling hours. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the ICU staff of St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
