We just recently heard that Jerry passed on May 1st and wanted to send our sincere condolences and sympathy to your family. Jerry was a devoted partner to my uncle Phil, and they shared a great life together. David and I and our family have many good memories of Jerry. He was a welcoming and generous host to us as well as my parents when we visited them in Florida, and we will always remember the good times we spent with him and uncle.

Jerry was such a talented man and gave so much love and encouragement to all the girls in the Neighborhood Center Choir. He helped us to believe we could achieve anything we set our minds to including singing at the World's Fair. I was privileged to be in the Neighborhood Center choir from age 9 to 19 yrs old and thanks to Jerry I was able to grow up with music at the center of my life. .So sorry to learn of Dr. Graniero's passing. As a colleague of 20+ years, I was part of a team that worked to ensure equitable opportunities for students;provide resources, and professional development for teachers, parents, school communities in the SE states.I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to learn from and work with him.
