Obituary of Alexander L. Branck

FRANKFORT – Mr. Alexander L. “Alex” Branck, who graced us all with his charm, wit and contagious smile, left us unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, November 18, 2020. His passing occurred in the privacy and comfort of his home at the young age of 31 years old. Born on August 22, 1989, Alex is the only son of David and Sandra (Vanden Bogard) Branck. He was a lifelong Frankfort resident whose education began at West Frankfort Elementary School and culminated at Frankfort-Schuyler High School. Alex’s career was spent as a mason and a carpenter, first with his family’s company, Branck Construction and then with Central Paving, where he was currently employed. He was a dedicated and reliable tradesman and his hard work and talents were well-known throughout his industry and his community. Anyone who was lucky enough to be counted as Alex’s family or friend knew that he was one of the most reliable, trustworthy and loyal people that you could know. For the most part he maintained a very collected and even demeanor, always taking in his surroundings and enjoying the company of those around him. He loved to dance and held a passion for music; particularly the guitar, which he enjoyed playing every chance he got. He enjoyed nothing more than a nice ride on his Harley or in his classic Cadillac convertible and absolutely adored his dogs, Bernie, Buster and Athena. Alex’s loss will forever leave a void in the hearts of his beloved family. He is survived by his parents, Dave and Sandy; his loving girlfriend and companion, Kaleigh Coyne; his uncles, Daniel Branck of Florida and Rocco Branck, II of Frankfort; his aunts, Carol Boucher of Ilion, Deborah (Branck) Hazleton of Richfield Springs and Laura (Branck) Jones of Frankfort; and his cousins, whom he grew up with as siblings, Erica Branck and fiancée, William Gahan, Rocco Branck, III and Megan Rhymestine, Andrew Branck, Leah Branck, Heather (Boucher) Zieno, Constance (Boucher) Yardley, Amanda Hazleton, Danielle Branck, Nathan Branck, Jonathan Boucher and Philip Branck; along with countless friends and co-workers, too numerous to mention. The Branck family is extremely gracious to the outpouring of love and support being shown to them in this community. They will gather together to bid their farewells to Alex in a private ceremony. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea and Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Town of Frankfort, Ilion, NY (315) 894-8000, Martin L. Ciaccia and Harry and Kevin Enea, Funeral Directors. Online notes of sympathy may be left at www.eneafamily.com.
