LITTLE FALLS - Longtime resident John A. Bersani, Jr., was called home to the Lord on November 25th, 2020. He passed unexpectedly at his home, in Little Falls. He leaves behind his Mother, Angelina Fergone; his Father, John Bersani Sr.; His sister, Christine Shultz and husband, Paul Shultz, Sister, Eve Bernier and her pre-deceased husband, John Bernier; his brother, Dominick Bersani and wife, Jennifer Bersani; also several nieces, nephews and close friends. John was a long - time chef of the area and last held his position as the Chef at Dominick's Italian Bistro. John enjoyed fishing, playing pool, making people laugh and serving others. His sense of selflessness was a great attribute that he was known for. He loved the Lord with all of his heart. His presence will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020, at 11:00 AM, at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 North Washington Street, Herkimer, New York. We will have a brief prayer service and then interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer, New York. Calling hours for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday morning, prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. We will adhere to social distancing and face masks.
