Obituary of Cecil C. Bronson

LITTLE FALLS – Mr. Cecil C. Bronson, age 97, who resided on Loomis Street, in Little Falls, New York for many years, passed away with his loving family at his side on Saturday morning, December 12, 2020. He was born on February 26, 1923, in Middleville, New York, a son of the late Cecil C. and Ethel (Hannay) Bronson and was educated in Little Falls schools. He went on to serve our country with the United States Army during World War II. His marriage to the former Mary J. Adamko took place on April 11, 1942, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church when it was located on Jefferson Street in Little Falls. Their marriage nearly spanned 80 years together, a true love story. Cecil worked with Salada Foods, Little Falls, for 39 years. He retired in June of 1985. He was a devoted member of the Holy Family Parish Church and carried memberships with the Little Falls VFW, the Little Falls American Legion Post #31 and the AARP. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; his children, Donald Bronson and his wife, Renee, of Herkimer, Kenneth Bronson and his wife, Connie, of Frankfort, Donna Winzinger and her husband, Henry, of Bordentown, New Jersey and Paula Murray, of Middleville and her special friend, Robert Peters; his grandchildren, Shawn Murray and his wife, Patricia, Jami Murray, Tamie Pushlar and her husband, Andrew, Andrew Bronson and his wife, Courtney, Kayla Hartman and her husband, Tim, Nicholas Bronson and his special friend, Sarah, Kenneth Bronson, Jr. and his wife, Jessica and Jordan Bronson and his special friend, Kira Miller; along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Helen Urich, Rose Hubiak and Ann Bronson. He was predeceased by his sons-in-law, Fred Murray and George Orr; sisters, Vivian Devereese, Bernice Mikus, Marie Pierce and Lila Zawtocki; his brothers, Lyle and Leslie Bronson; and grandson, James Patrick Glover. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 10:30 AM, from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, in Little Falls and at 11:00 AM, at the Holy Family Parish Church, corner of East Main & John Streets, in Little Falls, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Brian Slezak, Pastor. Spring interment with full military honors will take place in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls. Calling hours (FOR FAMILY ONLY) at the Enea Family Funeral Home, will be on Thursday morning, Dec. 17th, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. If you plan to attend the calling hours or funeral services, a face mask will be required. Thank you.
