Obituary of Luba Yaletchko

UTICA – Luba Yaletchko, age 77, went home to her Lord, having passed away on Sunday morning, January 17, 2021 at the Grand, in Utica, New York. Born in Utica on December 27, 1943, Luba was a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Bielawa) Yaletchko and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy with the Class of 1959. She worked with General Electric radio receiver over the years and several other places. She loved singing in the church choir. She has a son, Mark Anthony Cardillo, of Washington State; a brother, Joseph Yaletchko, of Utica; a brother-in-law, Salvatore LaBarbera, of Frankfort; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Dorothy H. LaBarbera, on June 26, 2019; and her brother, Nicholas Yaletchko. Luba’s family has been cared for by the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, in Ilion, New York, (Town of Frankfort) all in a private and dignified manner. Her arrangements were handled by Funeral Directors Harry J. Enea, Jr., Kevin E. Enea and Martin L. Ciaccia (315) 894-8000.
