ILION – Randolph G. Miller, age 62, a resident of Ilion, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, January 18, 2021 in the privacy and comfort of his home. Born on April 4, 1958, Randolph was the son of the late Donald and Helen (Redhead) Miller. He was raised and educated locally and obtained his GED. On June 3, 1978, Randolph was married to the former Jill Rockefeller in Utica and together they shared in a loving and devoted union of over forty-two years. Randolph was employed as a machine operator at Remington Arms for many years until his recent retirement. In his spare time he loved to fish, hunt and try his luck playing online poker! He is survived by his three sons, Shaun Miller of Whitesboro, Nicholas Miller and Molly LiBritz of Frankfort, and Stephen and Taylor Miller of Cheyenne, Wyoming; his grandson, Ethan Miller of Clinton; his brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Miller and Philip and Cindy Miller, all of Central Square; and his sisters, Cindy Miller of Texas and Linda Overton of Central Square. He also leaves his in-laws, Karen Rockefeller, Gary Rockefeller, Diane and Pat Alfano, Bonnie Rockefeller, Pamela and Eddy Mendoza and Krissy and Sean Moore; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Donald Miller and Michael Miller; and by his mother-in-law, Joan Rockefeller. In keeping with Randolph’s wishes, there will be no formal calling hours of funeral service.
