Obituary of Richard F. Perry

ARIZONA/LITTLE FALLS – Richard F. Perry, age 74, currently of Apache Junction, Arizona and formerly of Little Falls, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday Morning, February 6, 2021. Born on August 22, 1946, Richard was the son of the late Frank and Marie (Richie) Perry. He was raised and educated locally and was a graduate of Little Falls High School. He then went on to enlist in the United States Army and honorably served his country in Vietnam, receiving his honorable discharge on May 24, 1969. For many years, Dick was employed as a sprayer and polisher with the Remington Arms Company in Ilion before his retirement in 1996. He was a longtime former parishioner of Holy Family Parish Church in Little Falls and also an active member of his local American Legion and VFW. Dick is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Annmarie Gardner of Herkimer and Jennifer and Anthony Lisandrelli of Florence, SC; his sister, Donna Perry of Little Falls; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Pat Perry of Fort Plain; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. In keeping with his wishes, Dick’s family will gather privately to bid their farewells in the spring and his remains will be laid to rest with his parents in St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Herkimer.
