Obituary of Theresa S. Fusco

The family is requesting that you please DO NOT re-post this obituary to any social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) Thank you for your understanding... Mrs. Theresa “Sissy” Fusco passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021 after 102 memorable years as a loving wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. She touched the lives of many people with her gentle kindness and generosity. Her door was always open for a chat at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee and some homemade cookies. Sissy found joy in simple pleasures, her family, cooking & baking for all that she loved. She was a member of Sts. Anthony & Joseph Church and was a living example of the Christian principlefrom Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Sissy was married to her childhood sweetheart Leonard Fusco who passed away in 1982. She is survived by her daughter, Theresa & son-in-law, Lloyd Chamberlain; her daughter-in-law, Valerie Fusco; her grandchildren, Cassandra and Paul Warmuth and Reanna and Matthew Krawiec; and her great-grandson, Giovanni. Sissy is also predeceased by her loving son, John Fusco, who always remained in her heart. The Fusco Family will be receiving friends and relatives for a celebration of her life on Saturday, August 21, 2021. We will celebrate her love of family food and faith beginning at the Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Frankfort, at 10AM, Followed by a graveside service at the Calvary Cemetery, located on West German Street in Herkimer. Finally, all are invited to a gathering at 409 Mohawk Street, Herkimer (Aunt Nettie & Uncle Mark’s side) to enjoy the family, friends and food that meant so much to my mother. If you feel you cannot attend the service and wish to pay your respects, we will be having “calling hours” at 409 Mohawk Street, Herkimer, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., after the graveside service. Please stop by for a hug, a cup of coffee and a cookie, which is what my mother would have wanted. We hope you can join us and we look forward to reminiscing about the many fond memories we share. Online condolences may be left at www.eneafamily.com.
