Obituary of Patricia A. Clements

ILION - Patricia “Pat” A. Clements, age 89, of Prindle Apts., Ilion, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, with her family and her Pastor by her side. Pat was born on July 9, 1931, in Utica, the daughter of Michael J. and Mary J. (Fox) Keogh. She attended St. Agnes and St. Francis De Sales Catholic Schools, and graduated from UFA in Utica. On January 9, 1954, she was married to David E. Clements, Jr., at St. Agnes Church in Utica. Pat was a loving, caring person who lived her life constantly thinking of others. Her generosity was boundless and she enjoyed sharing food and laughs with anyone she encountered. Pat enjoyed golfing in leagues and tournaments, especially at Maple Crest Golf course, bowling leagues and playing cards with friends and family. Pat was employed as a waitress at many local restaurants, including Mayfair Park, Thurston’s and Club Monarch. She attended Sts. Peter & Paul, Our Lady Queen of Apostles and Church of the Annunciation Catholic Churches. She was a life-long member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving family members include her daughter, Mary Grace Clements (Chris); her sons, David E. Clements III, Michael J. Clements (Mary Anne) and Dennis P. Clements; grandchildren, Laura Harding, A’nna (Otto) Isenberg, David (Megan) Harding, Katie (Scott) Clements, Kristen Clements and Emma Clements; her great-grandson, Corbin Isenberg; brother-in-law, Thomas Rice; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend special thanks to Linda Rice, Patty Hayes and Becky Dye for their years of guidance and loving care. Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband, David Clements Jr.; parents, Michael & Mary Jane Keogh; brother, James (Ellen) Keogh; sisters, Mary Ellen (Bill) Thomas, Margaret (Walt) Revere, Kathleen (Bill) Southworth and Anne Rice; and daughter-in-law, Kay Clements. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, 412 S. Frankfort St., Frankfort, NY, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Paul Catena, Pastor. If you plan on attending the Mass, please wear a mask. Following the service, a gathering of family and friends will be held. In keeping with Pat’s wishes, there are no scheduled public calling hours. Interment will be held directly following the Mass, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort. Pat always found great joy in feeding her family and friends, so in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s name to the Utica Food Bank, P.O.
