FRANKFORT – Miss Jessica Ann Medina, of Frankfort, New York, passed away suddenly at the age of 40, on Thursday evening, July 22, 2021, at MVHS, Faxton-St. Luke’s Campus, always in the hearts of all of those who so dearly loved her. She was born on June 16, 1981, in Ilion, New York, and was the youngest of her two sisters, Michele Medina and Christine Medina. She was the daughter of Denise Marie Griffin and John J. Medina. She was raised in the Valley and attended and graduated from Ilion High School. Jessica was loved by her family and friends. A few of her favorite activities were Uno, Skip Bo, Super Mario Brothers and so much more. She enjoyed travelling, going to the casino and getting her nails done up with the girls. Jessica was loved and cared for by cousins, Tammy Bell, Mellisa Doolen, Tiffany Robinson, Carly Griffin and Nicole Spencers. Jessica had an aunt, from Maine, named Brenda Craine, whom she cared for deeply; as well an uncle named Owen Doolen, from Herkimer, who loved her dearly. Jessica had touched many hearts along the way as she has also worked at the Herkimer Area Resource Center for over twenty years doing a variety of jobs. She was a hard worker and a kind soul. You will always be remembered and in our hearts forever. We will always love you Jess.
