In 1943 her husband Jimmy became a partner with his father operating the Christcrest farm. He retired from farming in 1972. He played in several dance bands, lastly with the Leon Jeffers Orchestra and Lucille and Jimmy loved to dance. Lucille and Jimmy were members of Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, in St. Johnsville and she and her husband served in many capacities. Jimmy was vice chairman of the Official Board for 20 years, also a trustee and deacon. She was a member of the senior choir for many years. She gave a great deal of time over many years to the upkeep of the Grace Church. She and her husband were especially proud to have worked with the Roland Organ Co. installing the new organ. Survivors include two grandsons, Lee C. Habeeb and Evan C. Habeeb; a son-in-law, Richard Habeeb; a great-granddaughter, Callie Elizabeth Anderson, all of Pennsylvania; a special friend, Ernie Gee, of St. Johnsville; and several cousins.
