CEDARVILLE – Michael “Woody” Woodart, a farmer and lifelong resident of Cedarville NY, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 21, 2022, at the age of 57, in the comfort of his home. Michael was born on February 20, 1964 in Cooperstown New York. He graduated in 1982 from the Mount Markham Central School District. Even though Michael's mother, Doris Woodart, preceded him in death, he was never alone. The list of survivors and those who mourn his death are in the hundreds. Amongst those friends are Jim and Barb Lincourt and family, along with the entire Cedarville community who were there for him when needed the most, with love and fond memories. He will be sorely missed. Those who knew Woody will remember the love he had for his cows, especially Precious, his pride and joy, and being in the barn. He was also a avid sports fan. A graveside service will take place in the spring of 2022 in Cedarville Cemetery where Michael’s earthly remains will be laid to rest.
