Mrs. Patricia Ann Holland, age 73, beloved wife of James Holland, passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening, January 31, 2022. Her passing occurred in the privacy and comfort of her home, with her loving husband at her side. Born in Hornell, NY, on August 4, 1948, Patricia was the daughter of the late George and Elsie (Dawson) Floyd. She was a graduate of the Trumansburg Central School District. As a young woman, she met and fell in love with Mr. James Holland, and the couple shared in a blessed and devoted marriage of 53 years together. Patricia was last employed as a Certified Nurse’s Aide at the Masonic Care Community of CNY. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family, especially in the summertime at camp in Canada. She also enjoyed painting in her younger years and was an avid gardener, especially when it came to roses! Lastly, she was a wonderful baker who was famous for her breads and rolls, and nothing gave her greater joy than bestowing these treats to her beloved children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Jim; by her four children, Paul Holland and wife, Elizabeth, Jamie Miller and husband, Mike Miller, Patrick Holland and wife, Taunyia, and Jennifer Ianotta; along with ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.
