Jerry Allan Roth, age 64, of Oneida, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, May 18, 2023, at the residence of Debb (Duell) Farr, his bestest friend forever. At the time of his passing he had the love and support of his family by his side. Born in Rome on November 5, 1958, Jerry was the son of the late Charles and Beverly (Willson) Roth. He was raised in Rome and attended local schools. Jerry was employed with Campany Roofing for many years, working for his best friend, Jim Campany. He also spent many winters in West Palm Beach, Florida. Jerry enjoyed vacationing in Key West, watching NASCAR, the Washington Redskins, old westerns, camping and hanging out with his good friends at Pop A Top. He enjoyed picking up a friend to go buggy riding. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving besides his bestest friend forever, Debb (Duell) Farr, is one son, Jeremy (Jennifer Besig) Roth; his grandsons, Nicholas, Trenton, Jaxon and Asher; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Lori Roth of Rome, Time and Carla Roth of Boonville and Scott and Jeannie Roth of West Palm Beach. He also leaves his nieces and nephews and very special people in his life, Terri, Pat and Faith Kinsella, Kenny, Chrissy, Mackensie and Bree. Jerry was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Theresa Patterson and his nephew, Jessie Roth. The family would like to express their thanks to Debb, Terri, Bree, Mac and Faith, for the compassion, care and support they showed Jerry. In keeping with Jerry’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
