ST. JOHNSVILLE- Wayne M. Darrach, 24, of Sanders St. passed away suddenly on August 6, 2011. He was born on May 19, 1987, in Amsterdam, son of Nelson Darrach III and Kimberly Oakley. Wayne worked as a machine operator at Helmont Mills. He was a very caring person. He was a Civil War enthusiast and has always wanted to participate in a Civil War reenactment. Wayne was a very talented artist who at one time attended Art School in California. Survivors include his mother Kimberly Oakley; his father Nelson Darrach III; his grandmother Simone Oakley; his uncles Jeffrey Darrach, Steven Darrach, Timothy Darrach and Gordon Oakley; his aunts Jodi Burton and Melissa Darrach, cousins, other extended family members and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville from 5-8pm on Wednesday August, 10, 2011. A religious service will be held at the funeral home at 10am on Thursday August 11, 2011 with the Rev. Kenneth Dingman officiating.
