ILION/FRANKFORT: Diana DiMartin, age 89, a former long time Frankfort resident, currently a resident of 46 West River Drive, Ilion, NY passed away on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown. She was born on August 16, 1921, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Maria) Campione DiMartin. Diana attended the Mohawk Valley Adult Care Program in Ilion and was a member of Our lady Queen of Apostles Church in Frankfort. She is survived by a nephew, Joseph DiMartin and wife Janet of Frankfort; nieces, Diana DiMartin and Tina Borst and husband Michael of Downingtown, PA; several cousins, great nieces and nephews. Diana was predeceased by brothers, Salvatore J. and James DiMartin and nephew, Salvatore F. DiMartin. Her funeral will commence on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 10:30 am from Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Church, Frankfort where her Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by Reverend Leo Potvin and assisted by Deacon James Bower. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort, where she will be laid to rest. There will be no public calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, town of Frankfort/Ilion, (894-8000) under the direction of Harry J. Enea, Funeral Director. The family would like to offer special thanks to the West River Drive Staff of CNY DDSO for all of their help, care and kindness shown to Diana over the years.
