HERKIMER-Patrick William Dickinson, age 54 of 269 N. Main St., Herkimer, entered into eternal rest on Monday afternoon, November 22, 2010 in Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse. He was born on February 4, 1956 son of the late LeRoy Dickinson and Helen (Gordon) Dickinson of Herkimer and educated in Milford schools. He was a proud United States Veteran having served with the U.S. Army enlisting on February 14, 1973 and was honorably discharged on July 29, 1974. He was last employed with Campus Hill Apartments, Inc., Syracuse, NY as a construction worker. Patrick was a loving father, brother, uncle and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his many friends. He loved music and playing the guitar and harmonica and was a talented music writer. Pat also loved to cook and watch his favorite sport teams. Survivors include his mother, Helen Dickinson of Herkimer; his companion, Maggie Runyon; his children: Bridget Dickinson of West Winfield and Chelsea Dickinson of Ilion; a granddaughter: Kendra Stafford of Ilion; siblings: Barbara McCormick of Saratoga, Roy Dickinson of North Carolina, Robert "Mickey" Dickinson of Frankfort, Robin Bowler of Florida, and Paul Dickinson of Herkimer; many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will be present at Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. to receive relatives and friends. The funeral will commence at 10 am on Saturday morning, Nov. 27th from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered by Carolyn Fletcher, Funeral Celebrant. Burial will take place privately. The family is being cared for by funeral director, Daniel J. Enea.
