<b>Visitations</b> <p>There are no public calling hours.</p> <b>Services</b> <p>A Mass of Cristian Burial will be celebrated Saturday February 20th commencing at 1:30PM at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Church, Frankfort with pastor Father Anthony Barratt and Deacon Jim Bower officiating.</p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p>Interment in St. Josephs Cemetery will take place at a later date to be announced.</p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>ILION/CHADWICKS-Marion E. Edwards 86 of Rockwell Drive formerly of Oneida St. Chadwicks passed away Wednesday evening Feb. 17, 2010 with her loving family by her side. Marion was born January 14, 1924 in Utica, daughter of the late Arnold T. and Nora White Edwards. She attended school in Chadwicks. A loyal employee of the Utica Mutual Insurance Co., Marion retired in 1984 with 29 years of service. She attended church at Our Lady Queen of Apostles in Frankfort. Memberships include the Utica Mutual 25 year club, and the Ilion K of C Auxiliary. Marion loved to maintain her home and yard, and was very grateful for the Fitzer family's kind hospitality. Marion's family was her world. She was affectionately called "Aunt Marion" by family and friends. Survivors include her two sisters and one brother-in-law, Charlotte Day of Ilion, Glenn and Shirley Rieben of New Hartford, one sister-in-law Gertrude Edwards of Ft. Myers, Fl., many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, several cousins, friends and neighbors including her very dear friends Georgiann Amendolare and Jewel Vayo. Marion was predeceased by her parents, siblings Billy, Stewart, Robert, and Dorothy. nephew Dick Jones, Brothers-in-law Jack Day and Bill Zwiefel. Please consider a memorial contribution to the Ilion Ambulance Fund in Marion's memory. A very heartfelt thank you is extended by Marion's family to Administrator Jim DeLuca and his entire staff at the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home (especially 2nd floor) for the loving professional care that was provided to Marion and her family during her stay. Also, Dr. Cheryl Mattern for years of outstanding care, and Fr. Barratt and the Eucharistic ministers who always took the time to visit Marion and tend to her spiritual needs.
