Enea, 20, a lifelong Herkimer resident, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 24, 2009. He was born on September 30, 1988 in Little Falls Hospital, son of Vincent and Elaine (Tomei) Enea of Herkimer and graduated with the Herkimer High School, "Class of 2007". He was well- known and rightfully proud for his many wrestling accomplishments. Anthony would have graduated this May from Herkimer County Community College with a degree in Business Administration. Anthony was currently assisting his family in the operation of Enea's Italian Feast in Little Falls. He attended St. Francis de Sales Church, Herkimer. As an exceptional young man, Anthony's kind heart gained him the love and respect of many people and he had a strong and steadfast regard for his loved ones. He had a huge heart and was an exemplary family man always ready to lend a hand to anyone who sought or needed assistance. He made friends instantly and kept them forever. He understood the importance of family values and always maintained special bonds with his family, especially the bond he shared with his brother Vinny and sister Elyse. As of recent, he was extremely proud of his involvement in the operation of his family's restaurant in Little Falls. Anthony enjoyed sports and especially following the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. He was an active young man, always "on the go" enjoying many outdoor activities such as snowmobiling, four-wheeling and jet skiing. There is a saying that could be said that Anthony lived by: "Travel light in life. Take only what you need: A loving family, good friends, simple pleasures, someone to love, and someone to love you." Rest in peace, Anthony. Survivors include his beloved family; his parents: Vincent and Elaine Enea of Herkimer; paternal grandmother: Lucy Enea of Herkimer; he was devoted to his brother and sister: Vincent Enea and fiancé Sarah Donahue and Elyse Enea; also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous close friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents: Frank and Mary Ellen Tomei and by his paternal grandfather: Harry Enea, Sr. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 2-4 &amp; 6-9 p.m. at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer. His funeral will commence on Wednesday morning, January 28th at 10 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home of Herkimer where prayer will be offered and at 11 am from St. Francis de Sales Church, N. Bellinger St., Herkimer where the Rev. Mark Cunningham, pastor will celebrate his Mass of Christian Burial. Anthony will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer. In lieu of floral tributes, kindly consider memorial offerings to the Anthony M. Enea Memorial Fund that will be used toward the Herkimer High School wrestling program. Vincent and Elaine would like to thank all of the many relatives and friends, too numerous to mention, for the kind acts of sympathy during this difficult time. </p>
