<>Mrs. Virginia Mae Humhreys 87 of 562 Binghams Mill Road Stratford, died Saturday Setember 24, 2011 in Little Falls Hosital after a brief illness. She was born in the town of Salisbury on November 5, 1923 the daughter of Arthur and Grace (Arnold) Belcher and was a graduate of Stratford School. Her marriage to Herbert E. Humhreys took lace on June 29, 1947 in Universalist Church in Dolgeville. Mr. Humhreys redeceased her on March 20, 2006. Virginia was emloyed for over 20 years with the Marriott Cororation as a waitress at the Indian Castle restaurant on the New York Thruway, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Dolgeville United Methodist Church and the Stratford senior Citizens. Her family and grandchildren were her most ersonal enjoyment along with her animals. She is survived by her sons and their wives Grant and Deborah Humhreys of Amsterdam, and Elon and Darlene Humhreys of Stratford, her Grandchildren Brett and his wife Kelly Humhreys of Utica, Shayna Humhreys and Brendan McGroggan of Colonie, Ethan and Tyler Humhreys of Stratford. In keeing with her wishes, funeral services will be rivate and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brian A. Roberts of the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Memorial s may be sent to the Dolgeville United Methodist Church in her memory. <>
