FRANKFORT, NY-Mrs. Pamela J. Haight, age 64, of Baum Road, entered into eternal rest on Thursday afternoon, July 14, 2011 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born on December 18, 1946 in Utica, daughter of the late Victor and Josephine Ford and educated in Utica schools. She has been a lifelong valley resident. On July 29, 1972, she was united in marriage with Thomas H. Haight in Holland Patent; a 39-year union filled with love and devotion. She was of the Catholic faith. Pamela's world was one surrounded by beautiful gardens, hanging plants and flower boxes. She understood the plant world, and her knowledge was respected far and wide. She was unselfish about sharing the fruits of her labors with those she loved. She was everybody's best friend and especially loved the kids that came to see her magical gardens of delight. The world she created reflected the unselfish and gentle nature of her soul. She touched everyone who met her. We love you and will always remember you, Pamela- Sincerely, your family and friends. Survivors include her devoted family; her husband Thomas of Frankfort; a daughter: Melanie Miller and husband Peter of Mohawk; a grandson, Hunter Miller; in laws: Dennis Haight and wife Mary of Cobleskill; nieces, Christie, Becky and Julie, and a nephew, Jason; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Victor Ford, Jr.. There are no public calling hours. Services will take place at the convenience of the family.
