Obituary of Virginia Jobe

<p>Mrs. Virginia M. Jobe 83 of 4 Howard Street Ext. Dolgeville, died Monday September 13, 2010 in St. Elizabeth's Hospital Utica. At the time of her passing she had the love and support of her husband and daughters at her side. She was born in Fairfield, New York on March 2, 1927 the daughter of Carl C. and Marion (Tabor) Youker and attended Stratford School. Virginia was united in marriage to Kenneth Jobe on March 21, 1964 in Dolgeville. They recently celebrated 46 years of marriage. She was employed by the former Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville, retiring from there several years ago. Virginia was a member of the Oppenheim Senior Citizens, the Stratford Senior Citizens, and was a member of the former Argensinger - James Post VFW of Dolgeville, and had served as President of the Herkimer County VFW Auxiliary. She personally enjoyed camping with her family at Oxbow and Hinckley Lake, along with fishing, cards, and traveling throughout the United States. Her family will always remember her for her cooking, and baking it was her language of "Love" for her family and friends and neighbors. She is survived by her husband Ken, her daughters and their husbands, Bonnie and Richard Kaminski of Dolgeville, Judy and Mark Ruffing of Little Falls, and Donna Geraty of Dolgeville, her Brother Kenneth and his wife Wanda Youker of Bullshoals, ARK., her Grandchildren Christene, Shannon, Edward, Daniel, Adam, Heather, also Jessica Eggleston and her husband Craig whom she raised as a granddaughter,several great grandchildren, her Sister in laws Wilma Youker of Schenectady and Dorothy Youker of Washington , and a Aunt Dorothy Stanley of Little Falls. She was predeceased by her brothers Donald, Clarence and Louis. Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening at 5PM at the Roberts &amp; Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville, with Pastor Marvin Isum officiating. Calling hours will be from 3PM until the time of the service at 5PM. Burial will take place at Mallet Hill Cemetery Town of Stratford at a later date. </p>
