Monroe St. Little Falls on Thursday January 21, 2010 from 4-8pm.</p> <b>Services</b> <p> A religious service will be held on Friday January 22, 2010 at 11am at Trinity Lutheran Church, Stone Arabia</p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p>Interment will take place in the spring of 2010.</p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>ST. JOHNSVILLE- Mrs. Julia "Judy" King, 68 entered into eternal rest on Friday January 15, 2010 with her loving family at her side. She was born on September 22, 1941, in Johnson City, NY, daughter of the late Steve and Julia (Buchel) Mares. On September 30, 1961 she was united in marriage with Jim King in Binghamton, NY. Judy, Jim, and their 5 children owned and operated Kingvue Holsteins dairy farm in Jordanville for almost 20 years. Judy was an active member of the Agricultural community as a Junior OHM Holstein Club advisor, a Farm Bureau member, a member of the Milk Promotion Board, as well as contributing to various other organizations. She also served as a member and officer of the Owen D. Young Central School Board for many years. Her love of cooking, crafts, sewing, gardening, and dairy agriculture were conveyed to all of the 4-H members for whom she served as a leader. After moving to St. Johnsville, she started Judy King Insurance Company of which she was owner and operator until the fall of 2009. She was a member of the Rotary and Chamber of Commerce. She was awarded Rotarian Of The Year for 2009. Survivors include her husband Jim; her son Michael; and Laurie Capece of Fort Plain; her daughters; Christine Nellis and her husband John of Fort Plain, Doreen DeGroff and her husband Wayne of Oswego, Andrea Winslow and her husband Mark of Pittsford Vermont, Julie Bushart and her husband Randal of Albany, her brother Eugene Mares and his wife Sylvia of Washington; her 10 grandchildren: Corey King, Katie Nellis, Brittany Nellis, Jim Winslow, Erin Nellis, Michael Winslow, John Winslow, Kendra Bushart, Charlotte Winslow, Matthew Bushart; her great grandson Riley King and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St. Little Falls on Thursday January 21, 2010 from 4-8pm. A religious service will be held on Friday January 22, 2010 at 11am at Trinity Lutheran Church, Stone Arabia Interment will take place in the spring of 2010. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Judy's name to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue • Gloversville, New York 12078. Envleopes may be obtained at the funeral home. </p>
