<b>Visitations</b> <p>5-6 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2007.</p> <b>Services</b> <p>6 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.</p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p>Private.</p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>LITTLE FALLS-Stephen "Pitt the Painter" Nichols, 56, of West Mill Street, passed away of heart complications on Thursday morning, September 4, 2007 in Little Falls Hospital, shortly after being admitted. He was born in New Haven, Conneticut on January 21, 1951, son of the late John Roy and Opal (Holland) Nichols. Stephen attended Paier Art College and Norfolk Music Academy and was an accomplished flute player. He served his country with the United States Army from 1969-1971. Stephen was affectionately known by many local business people and residents as "Pitt the Painter". He was wonderful artist and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his brothers: John Nichols of E. Northport and James Nichols of New Haven, Ct.,; two nieces: Christina Palumbo of Allentown, Pa. and Haylee Nichols of Northport and a nephew: Vincent Palumbo of San Diego, Ca. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, from 5-6 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2007. A funeral service will commence at 6 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Wintermute, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Little Falls, officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. </p>
