Obituary of Clare Ough

<b>Visitations</b> <p>Visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 7- 8:30 p.m.</p> <b>Services</b> <p>Mrs. Ough's funeral will commence at 9:30 am on Wednesday, March 18 from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor officiating. </p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p>She will be laid to rest later in the spring, in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills. </p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>LITTLE FALLS-Mrs. Clare (Burns) Ough, 89 a lifelong Little Falls resident, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, March 13, 2009 in Spring Lake Nursing Home, Winter Haven, Florida. She was born on March 25, 1919 in Boston, Mass., daughter of the late Francis M. and Margaret (Flaherty) Burns and graduated from Hyde Park High School in Boston and attended Boston University. On November 29, 1945, Clare was united in marriage with Webster J. Ough in Boston, Mass., a blessed union of 53 years until Mr. Ough's passing on February 26, 1999. Mrs. Ough was primarily a homemaker taking wonderful, meticulous care of her family. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. She also belonged to the Little Falls Staff Sgt. Steve Stefula Post Auxilary, serving as past president and also was a member of the NY State Federation of Home Bureau (Green Hills Chapter). Survivors include a son: James W. Ough and wife Linda of Davenport, Iowa; two granddaughters: Susan L.Ough and Cheryl M. Ough; two sister-in-laws: Mary Ough of Little Falls, New York and Gertrude Burns of Derry, New Hampshire; two nieces, five nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Margaret in October of 1983 and a brother Francis in November 2008. Visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 7- 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Ough's funeral will commence at 9:30 am on Wednesday, March 18 from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor officiating. She will be laid to rest later in the spring, in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills.
