<b>Visitations</b> <p>The Family will receive relatives and friends at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St. Little Falls from 2-4pm on Sunday December 21, 2008.</p> <b>Services</b> <p>A religious service will follow at 4pm with Rev. Michael Jones officiating. Military honors will be offered by the U.S. Navy at that time.</p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p>Spring burial will take place at St. Peter &amp; Paul Orthodox Cemetery in East Herkimer.</p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>LITTLE FALLS- John "Scottie" Ostasz, 86 of Church St., entered into eternal rest Thursday December 18, 2008 at James Square Health and Rehabilitation Center, Syracuse, NY. He was born on October 9, 1922 in Little Falls, son of the late Joseph and Katherine Ostasz. In 1949 he was joined in marriage with Anne Yaworski in Little Falls. In 1943, John joined the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946, serving in World War II where he was educated as a carpenter.He was a master craftsman and designed woodwork. He was president of The Ukranian Club. He excelled in sports; playing varsity football and basketball for Little Falls High School. Survivors include his daughter Linda Ann Hinz and her husband Daniel of Cicero, NY; his son J.C. Ostasz and his wife Mary-Beth of Littleton, Colorado; his 3 grandchildren Gregory Hinz, Mason Ostasz and Callie Ostasz;his sister Julia Barrett of Little Falls and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The Family will receive relatives and friends at The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St. Little Falls from 2-4pm on Sunday December 21, 2008.A religious service will follow at 4pm with Rev.
