Obituary of Marguerite Putman

<p>ST. JOHNSVILLE- Mrs. Peggy Putman, 90, a lifelong resident of St. Johnsville entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the St. Johnsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Peggy was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing. She was born on September 10, 1920 in St. Johnsville, daughter of the late Mary and John Fiacco. Peggy was educated in the St. Johnsville Schools. She worked in the cafeteria at the St. Johnsville High School and at Capece's Restaurant, both of which she enjoyed. She was a communicant of the St. Patrick's Church. Peggy enjoyed the company of her family and friends, especially Thursday night spaghetti dinners She also enjoyed crocheting baby blankets and booties for new family members. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Her lemon drop cookies were enjoyed by all who had them. A loving and caring person, Peggy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Survivors include her children: Mary Lou Donohue and her husband Richard of Amsterdam, Jon Putman of St. Johnsville, Lora Mosher of St. Johnsville and Michael Putman of St. Johnsville; her grandchildren: Michele Donohue, Mary Beth (Bob) St. Dennis of Ballston Spa, Michael (Pam) Donohue of Johnstown, Jacqueline Putman of St. Johnsville, Jennifer (Paul) Scripter of St. Johnsville, Michael Putman of St. Johnsville, Christopher (Janell) Mosher of St. Johnsville and Megan Mosher of St. Johnsville; her sister Eleanor Klymkow; her special niece Carol Pedro and her special nephew Jamie Richard. She was predeceased by her sisters Fedora Richard and Laura Bryn. In keeping with Peggy's wished there are no calling hours. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:30pm on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Our Lady Of Hope Church in Fort Plain. Procession will follow to St. Johnsville Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
