HERKIMER: Jean D.(LeBoeuf) Porter, age 77, a long time Herkimer resident, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at Valley Health Services. She was born on April 7, 1934 in Schenectady, NY, a daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Lyman) LeBoeuf. Jean was educated in Schenectady Schools. She was married to Raymond Porter in Schenectady, NY who passed away in 1979. Jean was a member of the Herkimer VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Polish Community Home of Herkimer. Jean leaves behind her sons: Raymond Porter, Jr. and wife Debbie, James Porter and Edwin Porter all of Georgia; John Porter of Utica, daughters: Michele M LeBoeuf and husband Robert Spaulding of Arizona, Jean Cooper and husband Gary of Florida, Christine Spaulding and husband Alan of Schenectady, Rae Eileen Porter of Alabama and Jill Porter of Georgia; fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Fellows. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer (866-1011) on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Eugene Kipper officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer. The family is being cared for by Harry J. Enea, Funeral Director.
