<b>Visitations</b> <p>Visitation will be held Thursday, 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m., prior to the funeral home service.</p> <b>Services</b> <p>Funeral services will be held 9:15 a.m., Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Applegate-Day &amp; Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., Ilion, and 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Annunciation, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Anthony Barratt, Pastor, assisted by Deacon James Bower.</p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p>Spring interment will be in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion.</p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>ILION - Pauline E. Raymond, age 84, formerly of London Towers, Ilion, passed away Friday, February 26, 2010, at St. Peter's Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center, Albany, NY, after a long illness. She was born on April 27, 1925, in Malone, the daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Wheaton) LaVoie, and graduated from Malone schools. In June of 1947, she was married to Edward Raymond in Malone. He died on August 12, 1985. In her early years, she worked for NY Telephone Co. and the Capitol Theater of Ilion. Pauline was a member of the Church of the Annunciation and the Ilion American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, shuffleboard, bus trips, and going out with her friends. Pauline also enjoyed traveling with her family to the Old Forge area. She was a good person, always helping out older tenants at London Towers. Survivors include her daughter, Paula Raymond, of Albany; two sons, Michael Raymond and wife, Emily, of Knightdale, NC, and Ross Raymond and wife, Doris, of Vergennes, VT; six grandchildren, John Raymond and wife, Carrie, of NC., Ryan Raymond and wife, Chelsea, of MO, Scott Raymond, of Utica, NY, Jessica Raymond, of VT, and fiancé, Geoff Sweeney, Keri Raymond, of VT, and Brian Raymond, of VT; three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Brandon and Kyle Raymond; her brother, Art LaVoie, of VA; and her sister, Eleanor Peck and husband, Fay, of Clifton Park, NY. She was predeceased by her husband; daughter-in-law, Eileen Raymond, in 2007; and two brothers, Leo and Gerald LaVoie. Funeral services will be held 9:15 a.m., Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Applegate-Day &amp; Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., Ilion, and 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Annunciation, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Anthony Barratt, Pastor, assisted by Deacon James Bower. Spring interment will be in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion. Visitation will be held Thursday, 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m., prior to the funeral home service. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 100 Lomond Court, Utica, NY 13502-5949. The family wishes to thank Joan and Rudy at Valley Health of Schroon Lake, NY, for the excellent care and compassion given to Pauline.
