<b>Visitations</b> <p>At the Funeral Mass</p> <b>Services</b> <p>Thursday November 19, 2009 at 9:30AMHoly Family Parish, Little Falls, New York</p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p></p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>Mr. James Richard Rudi 59 of 241 Sweet Hill Road Dolgeville, Town of Oppenheim, died unexpectedly Friday November 13, 2009 at his residence of natural causes. Jim was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on August 24, 1950 the son of the late Windber J. and Genevieve (Meyers) Rudi and was educated in Our Lady of Peace elementary school and was a graduate of Hackensack High School class of 1968. Upon graduation from high school he entered the United States Navy on January 27, 1969 and was honorably discharged on December 8, 1972 with the rank of ICFN E-3. He was united in marriage to Patricia M. Haran on January 11, 1975 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in West Milford, New Jersey. Jim was the owner/operator of the American Artisan Refinishing Shop on Main Street Little Falls, and was widely known for his ability to refinish antiques and reconstruct them. His work was second to none and can be found throughout the Utica and Mohawk Valley area. Jim was attending Holy Family Parish in Little Falls and was a 25 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous. His personal interest was woodworking, yard work on his tractor and assisting with Boy Scout Troop 18 of Dolgeville. He is survived by his wife Patricia, a Son Joseph Rudi of Anchorage , Alaska, a daughter Rebecca Rudi of Manhattan, a Brother and his wife Brian and Maureen Rudi of Dolgeville, a Sister and her husband Anita and Seth Petras of Fairfield, a Sister in law Helen Rudi of Newton, N.J. and several Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Windber and Dennis Rudi,and a sister in law Ann Rudi. His funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday November 19th, 2009 at 9:30Am at Holy Family Parish East Main Street Little Falls, with Rev. Anthony Ligato, Pastor as the celebrant. In lieu of flowers, Jim may be remembered with a memorial to Boy Scout Troop 18, c/o Mr. Curtis Eggleston 94 North Helmer Avenue Dolgeville, New York 13329. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brian A. Roberts of the Roberts &amp; Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. </p>
