Terns Jr., 57, of 130 Fulmer Lane Drive, Mohawk, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Little Falls Hospital. He was born on Dec. 1, 1950, in Walton, N.Y., the son of Rev. David B. and Violet Kathleen (Black) Terns and attended Mohawk schools. David was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a truck driver for Hummel?s Office Plus for the past 13 years. David attended Grace Episcopal Church, Mohawk, and was a former member of MOVAC and a former volunteer for Mohawk Fire Department. He was a bass guitar player for various bands including Blue Denim, Bob Lynn and The Night Hawks, and Sweetwater. Survivors include his daughters, Shelby Terns of Mohawk and Harmony Terns of Washington; his father, Rev David B. Terns Sr. of Herkimer; his sisters, Catherine Terns and her fianc?e Stanley Everson of Mohawk, Susan Oram and her companion Steve Faith of Ilion; his fianc?e Connie Panko and her children, Crystalene Wilson, Madonna Wilson and Joshua Wilson and grandchildren Jeweliana and Sonny Jr.; two nieces, Bridget Oram and Jennifer Hapeman and husband Marc; close friend Jason O?Brien; and his pet dog, Angie. He was predeceased by his mother, Violet ?Vicki? Terns in 1974. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, at the Applegate-Day &amp; Enea Family Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion, with Father William Wheeler, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, Mohawk, officiating, and with Brother Richard Drumm, FHC, assisting. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral home servce. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to MOVAC or Herkimer County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the Applegate-Day &amp; Enea Funeral Home, Ilion. </p>
