"Twas" Urich, 66, a lifelong Little Falls resident, passed away on Monday morning, November 21, 2005 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. David was born on July 10, 1939 in Little Falls, son of the late George and Sally Ganzmann Urich. He attended St. Mary's Academy and graduated with the Little Falls High School "Class of 1957". His marriage to Barbara Ann Renodin took place on August 23, 1975 in St. John's Church, Newport. He was a United States Veteran having served with the U.S. Navy and later the Army Reserves. His last professional employment was with Lasalle Labs where he was a line leader. He was employed in the same capacity by Remington Arms, Ilion for over 20 years. He was of the Catholic Faith. A proud veteran he was a member of the Little Falls American Legion Post #31 and was a member of the Little Falls German Maennerchor. Survivors include his wife Barbara, of Little Falls, two daughters: Marlies Treppel and husband Matt of North Carolina, Jennifer Rood and husband Ken Rood, Jr. of Ilion, and a son: Michael Urich of Westernville; two brothers: Cory and Gary Urich both of Mohawk; four grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no public visitation. Family and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial graveside service commencing at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, November 26, 2005 in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer. The Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls, will officiate. Full military honors will be accorded. Kindly consider memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. The Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls is serving the Urich family.</p>
