It sounds like Tony made friends easily and had alot of them! My father, Aloysius Rienzo, was probably one of the last friends Tony made. My father lived at Teresian House across the hall from Tony, the only two men on 6B. Tony was a sweet and intelligent man! They talked about the Yankees, the Giants, the NY Times crossword puzzles, Mitchell Field, and their days in Brooklyn. Ironically, we never even knew Tony lived in Ilion, where Aloysius' grandchildren were born and raised! My father passed away on January 6th, nine days before Tony. I like to think that right now, they are listening to some big band music and chatting with Joe DiMaggio! God bless them both.
