This family is so lost without you, Todd. We're trying so hard, but it feels impossible. I still cannot believe it, even as I look at the photos of you and at your surprise party that's perched on my desk. Even as I wipe away mom's heartbroken tears each time I see her. Thank you all for the love and support you have shown my mother and I. Each kind word you've sent has helped us to stay strong. Todd was the rock that held us steady at a time in our lives that was shaky and full of uncertainty. I like to think that's why he and mom found each other. He was the best father I could have ever wished for -- and trust me, until mom found him, I did. An amazing, gentle, kind and honest man has left us, but remember how he touched each of your hearts. To Todd's family, I was shocked to hear of Todd's passing. He was a great guy. He could make a school bus go anywhere and anytime there was a trip to a city, we always wanted him to take the lead. My deepest sympathies.
