Yestremski, 94, a long time St. Johnsville resident passed away on Saturday March 3, 2007 at the St. Johnsville Nursing Home. He was born March 9, 1912 in Little Falls, the son of the late Peter &amp; Josephine (Piniaha) Yestremski, and attended St. Johnsville schools. His marriage to Mildred C. Loucks took place on October 17, 1937 at St. Patrick?s Church in St. Johnsville. The couple shared a blessed union of 54 years until the passing of Mrs. Yestremski on November 12, 1992. Mr. Yestremski was a World War II Army veteran, enlisting on April 6, 1943 and was honorably discharged on December 10, 1945 with the rank of Corporal. For 39 years, Tony worked for the former Lenz Hardware in St. Johnsville. He was a member of St. Patrick?s Church in St. Johnsville and the St. Johnsville American Legion. Survivors include his son, Thomas R. Yestremski and wife Marlene of Gloversville; 3 sisters, Caroline Edwards of Herkimer, Mary Gartner of Little Falls, and Katherine Roginski of Mohawk, NY; a grandson, Gregory Yestremski and wife Jennifer; a great granddaughter, Katelyn Marie Yestremski; and several nieces, nephews &amp; cousins. He was pre-deceased by 4 sisters, Estella Matis, Gertrude Nellis, Veronica Ostasz &amp; Blanche Hajczewski. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 7, 2007 at 3:00 pm from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville. Spring burial will be in West St. Johnsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Wednesday March 7, 2007 from 12:00 noon until the time of the services. All memorial contributions may be made to S.A.V.A.C.
