I was so lucky to see John a few weeks ago in Auburn. It had been many years since I had seen him. John was always a kind and gentle man and will be dearly missed by all.
Karen, Alan, and family, please accept my condolences. John was always a wonderful man. He always a good word to say. He and his brother, Ed, were always bright spots at family gatherings. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend calling hours, as I have Open House at school. Please know that you all are in my prayers.
