Obituary of Rose Zuccaro

<b>Visitations</b> <p>Visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home (Little Falls) will be on Friday, May 23rd, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. </p> <b>Services</b> <p>Mrs. Zuccaro?s funeral will commence at 10:15 am on Saturday, May 24th, from the chapel of the funeral home where a prayer service will take place and at 11 am from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Sts., Little Falls where the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor will celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial.</p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p>Procession will follow to St. Mary?s Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.</p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>LITTLE FALLS-Mrs. Rose (Gargiulo) Zuccaro, 98, of Church St., Little Falls passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, May 21, 2008 in Valley Health Services, Herkimer. She was born on May 15, 1910 in Bronx, NY daughter of the late Alfred and Congetta (Remeni) Gargiulo and came to Little Falls as a child. She was united in marriage to Henry Zuccaro. Mr. Zuccaro passed away in 1979. Rose was a woman who committed all her energy, all her ability and all her being to her family and her home; she believed that taking care of her family was her primary responsibility in life, one which she welcomed and accepted with love, pride and dedication. She possessed numerous characteristics that were an influential source of admiration for the members of her family. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing bingo. She was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls and a member of the church Rosary Society. Survivors include a devoted son and daughter in law: Henry and Leslie Zuccaro of Little Falls and a loving daughter and son in law: Rosemarie Peruzzi and husband Alvaro of Little Falls; six cherished grandchildren: Mark Zuccaro, Kim Glenn and husband Rear Admiral David T. Glenn, Angela and David Bright, Alvaro Peruzzi and Larry Peruzzi and Ronnie Peruzzi; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers: Frank, Victor, John, Joe, Albert, Ralph, Amadeo and Alfred ?Tippy? Gargiulo Visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home (Little Falls) will be on Friday, May 23rd, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. Mrs. Zuccaro?s funeral will commence at 10:15 am on Saturday, May 24th, from the chapel of the funeral home where a prayer service will take place and at 11 am from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Sts., Little Falls where the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor will celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial. The Rosarian?s will form an honor guard at the funeral mass. Procession will follow to St. Mary?s Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.
