Anthony Ligato, pastor, officiating.</p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p>St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer.</p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>LITTLE FALLS-Daniel Peter Z. Lawrence, 27, of North William St., Little Falls, passed away on Monday morning, Aug. 20, 2007, in his sleep. His passing ended a long, courageous battle with A.L. S. (Lou Gehrig's disease) which Daniel was diagnosed with in August of 2001. He was born in Little Falls on December 11, 1979, son of Mark and Bernadine (Gillen) Lawrence, and attended Little Falls schools. His last employment was with RentWay in Little Falls and was of the Catholic faith. Daniel's life surrounded around his family especially his son, Caiden. He enjoyed being with friends and of-course, watching his Raiders. Survivors include his loving family: his parents: Mark and Bernadine of Little Falls; his son: Caiden Daniel Joseph Lawrence of Little Falls; his brothers: John Lawrence and Jenn Chrisman of Little Falls, Josh Lawrence of Little Falls, Alex Lawrence and Angela Rosato of Rochester; his sister: Cassandra Stevens and a special brother in law: Jeremy Stevens of Little Falls; a step-son: Elijah Shibley of Little Falls; two adored nieces: Jenna Gallt and Jaycelyn Stevens; uncles and aunts: Donald Lawrence and wife Sue of Texas, Peter Lawrence of Rochester, Joseph Lawrence and wife Celeen of Canaan, Laura (Lawrence) Campione and husband Tony of Little Falls, Richard Gamberdella of Little Falls, and a special aunt: Gloria Lawrence of Little Falls; many special cousins including Sarah Shepardson and husband Brian of Little Falls. He was preceded in death by an uncle: John Lawrence; an aunt: Lisa Gamberdella; paternal grandparents: John and Alice Lawrence; and his maternal grandparents: Jack and Mildred Gillen. There are no public calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial mass of Christian Burial which will be held at Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls, on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 11 am, with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor, officiating. Following the Mass, procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer, where inurnment will take place. Memorial offerings may be sent to ALS of Utica, 9169 River Road, Marcy, NY 13403. Envelopes will also be available at the service on Thursday. The Lawrence family wishes to extend their gratitude to all of Daniel's nurses who took wonderful care of him. Also a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Michael Abraham, Dr. Michael Lyons, Little Falls Fire Department and to the staff of Little Falls Hospital for all of the care and concern shown to the family during this difficult time. Daniel's family is being served by the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls. </p>
