<b>Visitations</b> <p></p> <b>Services</b> <p></p> <b>Cemetery</b> <p></p> <b>Obituary</b> <p>Mr. Herbert Zarin 77 of 777 Piseco Road Stratford, died Sunday morning December 4, 2005 at his residence of natural causes. He was born on June 30 1928 in the Town of Franklin, Somerset, New Jersey, the son of Lauhard and Victoria (Dyke) Zarin and attended schools both in New Jersey and in Brooklyn. A veteran of the United States Air Force he served honorably from 1947 until his discharge in 1950. His marriage to the former Gloria Watz took place on August 26, 1950 in All Saints Church in Brooklyn. The couple came to the Stratford area in August of 1977. Herbert was a self employed carpenter for many years working throughout the New York City area, retiring in 1993. He was of the Catholic Faith, and personally enjoyed listening to and recording all types of music, especially the old songs; he also liked to cook and was known for his specialty pizzas. Surviving is his wife Gloria, two Daughters Diane and her husband Dale Keck of Stratford, and Judith J. Zarin of Dolgeville his grandsons Emmanuel Zarin and Nathaniel and Nicholas Foster, a great Grandson Tyler Foster, a Niece Linda Collins of Long Island. He was predeceased by his Brother Leonard Zarin. A Prayer service will be offered on Saturday December 10th, 2005 at 2 PM at the Roberts &amp; Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville, with the Rev Leo F. Potvin of St. Joseph's Church officiating. There are No calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the spring.
