<p>Mr. Stefan W. "Steve" Zawtocki, passed away in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on October 31, 2005.
Mr. Zawtock was born in Little Falls on March 24, 1913 the son of the late Franciczek and Zophia Konopka Zawtocki. He married Anna S. Pietrzykowski on June 1, 1935 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Utica. A lifelong Little Falls resident he attended Little Falls schools and also Rochester Technical School. He retired from Chicago Pneumatic in 1975 where he was electrical maintenance department supervisor.
Mr. Zawtocki was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree, faithful navigator and honor guard, Little Falls Elks Lodge #42, Sacred Heart Church Parish Council, Trustee, Eucharistic Minister and lector at Holy Family Parish, and the Chicago Pneumatic Management Club.
Mr. Zawtocki is survived by his wife, Anna S., who together recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. He also leaves a son, Robert S. and wife Ann B. of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother Matthew Zawtocki and wife Mabel of Herkimer, a daughter in law: Donna Schofield and husband Michael of Ilion, six grandchildren: Dr. Lisa Sisinni and husband Anthony of Minneapolis, Mn., JoAnn Webber and husband William of Scituate, Mass., Debbie DiFabio and husband Robert of Oneida, Christine Paisker and husband Edward of Pittstown, NJ, Robert S. Zawtocki, Jr., and wife Katherine of Mooresville, NC and Nicole Eichenberger and husband John of Norcross, Ga.; eleven great grandchildren: Prima and Pilar Sisinni, Aubrey Ann Webber, Deanna DiFabio, Bradley, Nicholas and Mitchell Paisker, Benjamin, Matthew and Caroline Zawtocki and Maxwell Eichenberger. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas.
Visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls will be on Friday, November 4, 2005 from 5-8 p.m.
Mr. Zawtocki's funeral will commence at 10:30 am on Sat. morning, Nov. 5 from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and at 11 am from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where he will be laid to rest. Members of the Little Falls Elks's Lodge are asked to gather at the Enea Family Funeral Home at 6 p.m. on Friday evening to conduct their service.
