Little Falls: Raymond M. Entwistle, 57, of Flint Avenue Extension, Little Falls, passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2011. Ray was born in Ilion on November 17, 1953, a son of Raymond L. and Marie Theresa (Lomenzo) Entwistle. He graduated from Herkimer High School and was employed at the family business, Ramar Liquor in Herkimer. Ray is survived by his loving family; his parents, brother, Mark of Herkimer; aunts and uncles, Mike Lomenzo, Shirley Edick, Sandy Marusic, Robert and Joyce Entwistle, and Don & Angie Entwistle; nieces and nephew, Morgan and Kaitlin Entwistle, Shaina McKenney, and Zachary Souza; along with many friends and cousins, including Angela, Nicky, Ronald, Jimmy, and Theresa. Raymond loved Arizona for vacations and he often participated in cowboy roundups. If he lived in another time, he probably would have been a cowboy; and like all good cowboys, he died with his boots on. If anyone asks me about Raymond, I will always say, "He really lived!" Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home (Harry, Kevin and Dan), 220 N. Washington Street, Herkimer (866-1011) on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 5-8 pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Lawless on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 9:30 am at Sts. Anthony & Joseph Church, S. Main Street, Herkimer.
