ILION - Lois E. Prescott, age 93, of Ilion, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2011, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. She was born on February 13, 1918, in Norwich Corners, NY, the daughter of Arthur and Mae (Jones) Prescott, and graduated from Sauquoit High School. Lois was a member of the Ilion First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her sisters, Bernice E. Pero (Earl), of CA, Erma J. Blatchford (David), of Baldwinsville, NY, and Cherie P. Williams, of New Hartford, and many nieces and nephews (grand and great). She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy P. Latt. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a graveside service for Lois, on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at 2:30 p.m., at the Norwich Corners Cemetery, Graffenburg Rd., Town of Litchfield, with Rev. Victor McKusick, Pastor of the Ilion First Presbyterian Church, officiating. There are no calling hours. In Lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
