Robert Allan Wright 56 of 1336 Blandina Street Utica, died unexpectedly Tuesday November 22, 2011 at his residence of natural causes. Bob was born in Little Falls, on November 20, 1955 the son of the late Jackson R. and Alberta (Strobeck) Wright and was a graduate of Stratford High school, class of 1974. He continued his education by attending Concord College from 1983-86 where he majored in tourism. A veteran of the United States Air Force he served honorably from July 17, 1974 until his discharge in November 1975. Bob was employed by Parkway Drugs as a delivery driver for the prescription drug program. His personal interest was in Traveling, as he was in every state, except Hawaii, and he also toured Europe. He also enjoyed Civil War history. He is survived by a Sister and her husband Margaret and Lawrence Holliman of Marcy, NY, his Brothers, Daniel Wright and Ronald Wright of Herkimer, and Kris and his wife Terri Hagen of Westmoreland, NY and Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers John, Jackson and Timothy. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 26, 2011 at Noon at the Roberts & Enea Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Curtis Corners Cemetery, Town of Salisbury. Calling hours are on Saturday from 11AM until Noon.
