Little Falls: James R. DeLong, 54, of East Main Street, Little Falls, passed away in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center on December 6, 2011. James was born in Munnsville, NY on November 29, 1957, a son of the late Charles and Beverly June (Murphy) DeLong. He received his education in Ilion schools. He was employed with Fermer Precision in Cedarville until 2010, and was, at one time, employed at Burrows Paper in Little Falls. James was of the Methodist faith. Mr. DeLong is survived by a son, James DeLong, Jr. of Mohawk; a daughter, Sheri DeLong of Mohawk; brothers, Charles DeLong of Utica, and Thomas DeLong and his wife MaryAnn of Advance, NC; sisters, Maryanne Barnum and her husband John of Ilion, Barbara Weeks and her husband John of Mohawk, Catherine Wiggins and her husband Terry of Mohawk, Melissa Diehl and her husband Barry of West Winfield, and Susan Guyer and her husband Lauren of Ilion. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Sarah Maine and Sabrina Balderston; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 1-2 pm on Monday, December 12, 2011 at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, Ilion/Frankfort (894-8000). Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Mohawk Cemetery II, Vickerman Hill, Mohawk. The DeLong family is being cared for by Kevin E.
