FLORIDA/HERKIMER: Constance C. (Connie) Holbrook, age 71, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2011 at The Villages Regional Hospital in Lady Lake, FL. She was born on December 27, 1939 in Herkimer, the daughter of the late Henry and Leona (DeMars) Cumm. She was educated in Herkimer Schools and was a long time resident of Herkimer. Her marriage to James Holbrook took place at the Episcopal Church in Mohawk on May 24, 1958 and Jim passed away on March 17, 2007. She was employed for a number of years for the Herkimer County Home for the Aged (Country Manor) and was of the Catholic Faith. Connie had been very active in her Florida community and she enjoyed traveling with her late husband after retirement. Connie is survived by her children, Tammy A. Holbrook- Bowden and husband William Jr. of Virginia Beach, Murray J. Holbrook and wife Cindy of Virginia Beach, Lee A. Small and husband Rob of Lake George, Paul T. Holbrook and wife Mary Beth of Virginia Beach; a brother Robert Cumm and wife Lorraine of Wildwood, FL; grandchildren, Ashley Holbrook, Tyler J. Small and Cheyenne Holbrook; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also is survived by two aunts, Madeline and Dorothy DeMars, both of Herkimer. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at the convenience of the family in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer, NY. There will be no public calling hours. Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N.
